At Ridge Ropes, we want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. However, due to the global pandemic, shipping carriers are operating at slower speeds and your package might take longer to arrive than expected. We will help you if any issues come up during delivery. It is recommended that international customers choose UPS or DHL services for better shipping support.
Order Processing Time
Order processing is the time from which you place the order, to when the order is fulfilled (given to the shipping carrier service). We aim to process orders within 48 hours. Any orders placed on Friday or the weekend may be processed on the following Monday. Processing time is not counted towards shipping time.
Domestic Shipping is offered for all 50 states in the Unites States. A variety of shipping options are available for these locations including:
- USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business days)
- USPS First Class Package (1-4 business days)
- UPS Ground (1-5 business days)
- Free Shipping on Orders Over $100 (1-5 business days)
*All other locations are considered International Shipping. Federal holidays and weekends are not counted as delivery days.
Shipping times and delivery options for international orders will vary by region and country. The shipping options and expected delivery times will be automatically displayed at checkout. However, delays may occur due to the global pandemic, transport networks, or from customs processing. The shipping options for international orders include:
- DHL Express Worldwide (1-5 business days)
- UPS Worldwide Saver (1-3 business days)
- UPS Worldwide Expedited (2-5 business days)
- USPS First Class Package International (7-21 business days)
*Unfortunately, we cannot yet offer free shipping on international orders. It is recommended that UPS or DHL services are selected for better tracking support. Federal holidays and weekends are not counted as delivery days.
*Please Note: Selecting USPS First Class Package International is the least expensive option but also may take a very long time (over 25 business days at times and even longer if the package is held at customs). Ridge Ropes is not responsible for lost packages with this shipping method as insurance or tracking is not included for USPS First Class Package International.
Customs, Import Fees, & Local Taxes
All orders are shipped from the United States. Therefore, international shipments may incur additional fees upon arriving at the destination country. Each country has different laws and regulations governing customs fees, import duties, and local sales taxes. We are unable to provide this information in the shipping quote during checkout. This means that the total at checkout does not include any of the additional fees that might be required to obtain your package.
Any additional fees are the responsibility of the customer. Payment of these fees is required to release the package from customs. Ridge Ropes does not have control over customs, import fees, and local taxes. If you have concerns or questions, you should contact your local customs office, tax authorities, and postal service prior to making a purchase. They will be able to best answer your questions as the regulations change on a regular basis.
Refusal to Pay Customs: In the situation that you refuse to pay for any of the customs/import fees that may be incurred and the order is returned to Ridge Ropes, you will be eligible for a refund only for the products purchased. Shipping and handling fees will be deducted from the refund. Please check with your country's regulations to prevent this from happening. We want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase.
